1. Why do I have to register with West Lothian Pics?
You must register with us to purchase any products from our website. Our registration is a simple and quick process. Users that only wish to browse our pics do not need to register, though registered users do have access to more features on our website.
2. Can I trust your website with my email address and personal details?
The simple answer is yes, our payments and personal details sections of our website are all fully protected by 128 bit secure SSL. We take our users privacy and security very seriously at West Lothian Pics. Always look for the closed padlock on the top of your browser to ensure the padlock is closed, this means you are on a secure section of our website.
3. Why do I need to pay for a photo that I am in?
We charge very small amounts for our pics. The service that we offer to West Lothian is unique and good fun, we would not be able to offer this service if we gave the pics away for free. Our sales show for themselves that we offer a good service at a fair price.
4. I want to book the photographer, can I do this and how much would it cost?
Our photographer is available for bookings. Simply contact us with the name of venue, date, time, and any other details. As our photographer is always very busy, we do ask that you book as early as possable to avoid disappointment. We do not normally ask for any call out charge, we will charge our basic rates for prints, keyrings and other products on the night.
5. Why dont you take photos at my local pub/club?
Our service requires that we have full permissions from the owner or manager of each venue. If we do not currently take pics at your local venue then ask them to contact us. Get friends and family to ask for our services too, the more that ask the better your chances of seeing us in your local.
6. The Heritage and Scenery pics dont have the subject I am looking for, can I request a pic taken?
Yes, you certainly can. We aim to offer the pics that people want to see and use. Contact us and tell us what you want, try to use as much detail as possable. For example, a photo of a train moving at speed on the Bathgate line or standing on Dechmont Law hill zooming into the Forth Road Bridge, and so on. You can ask for anything you like.
7. I love West Lothian Pics, can I buy a t-shirt?
Our t-shirts are currently only £9 each and are our standard colours of black with white print. The t-shirts are currently available in all sizes. Please allow 2-3 days to receive this product as we only buy to order.
